Your Role
We are looking for a Digital Technology Intern to join our Digital Technology team in Milan as part of EssilorLuxottica Global IT Organization.
This internship offers hands-on experience supporting the department head in strategic technical operations while collaborating with architects, developers, and project managers on key eCommerce transformation programs. You'll gain exposure to global IT initiatives and contribute to projects that shape the future of Digital Technologies.
Main responsibilities:
1. Budget & vendor management
Assist in tracking and maintaining Digital Technology budgets, including expenses authorization and forecastingSupport relationships with external suppliers and system integrators, coordinating recurrent meetings and committees2. Staffing & resource coordination
Help manage external staffing, including onboarding and tracking allocation to projects3. Applications portfolio analysis
Analyze and maintain Digital Technology applications portfolio mapping Support the preparation of strategic Digital Technology landscape evolution4. Transformation programs reporting
Support the preparation of executive summaries and dashboards for stakeholder updates5. Direct guidance from senior IT leaders and exposure to C-suite decision-making
6. Access to workshops and events with cross-functional teams
7. Contribute to high-visibility Digital Technologies used by millions of customers globally
Main requirements:
MSc in Information Systems, Business Administration, Management or related fieldsNatural curiosity towards IT Proficient in MS Office suite Strong organizational and communication skillsFluent in Italian and EnglishWhat's in it for you
