We are currently looking for a Technical Service Specialist to join us at our facility in Pistoya.
Technical Service Specialist Essential Functions:
Has a good knowledge of coatings and application methods Work with Axalta Sales and Technical resources to deliver the best outcomes Manage customer relationships - including technical support and service, line issues, supply chain support and future planning. Provide technical direction and assistance to customers on the use of products; serves as an expert with a working knowledge of multiple technologies and may involve multiple sites. Troubleshoot & resolve problems on customer sites. Provide customer training Serves as a customer liaison with the Axalta organisation. Ability to travel typically 80% Support new customer start-ups and business development opportunities. Manage existing CV accounts in Italy and develop networks/relationships with potential new CV customers to support future business growth.Culture Champion:

Paint skills - colour knowledge, paint application knowledge & defect ID knowledge (sag, crater, dirt) Instrumentation knowledge (e.g. BYK Gardner, RIQ, X-Rite, Gloss, dft) Friendly, outgoing personality Knowledge of mix room functions – inventory control, usage, material validation Collect & validate data – e.g. appearance, film builds , colour etc..
