Description Senior / Associate Cost Manager - Data CentresMilan - NON EU PASSPORT HOLDERS CAN APPLY€80-95k DOE Kenton Black International is excited to be supporting this leading international consultancy as their hugely successful EMEA Data Centre team continues to go from strength to strength. With a fantastic pipeline of projects as well lots of existing work, they are looking to add a Senior or Associate level Cost Manager to their team in Milan. We're keen to hear from degree educated Cost Managers with a strong consultancy or client background. Whilst Data Centre & MEP experience would be ideal, candidates with a proven track record of of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying/scheduling across the full lifecycle of schemes such as advanced tech, hi-tech manufacturing, pharma, BESS, and similar projects are invited to apply. Stakeholder management experience is also highly desirable. Responsibilities will include - • Pre and post-contract duties, including preparation of cost estimates, RFPs, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.• Completing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports• Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan• Tendering and procurement activity, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis, tender report and compiling the contractual documents• Taking responsibility for timely and accurate cost checks and valuations• Producing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client• Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages• Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes• Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts• Maintain central feedback and learning on cost estimating from prospects and projects and contribute to updating of best practices in estimating The ideal candidate will – • Be educated to degree level, ideally in Quantity Surveying (essential)• Be from a consultancy or client background (essential)• Be MRICS (preferable)• Have strong Data Centre (preferable) This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that's interested in living and working in a different country, and relocation and visa support will be provided if necessary.
