MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. Who are we looking for?We are looking for a PDM Specialist, who will be responsible for continuous improvement, maintenance and ensuring the correct details of our product data and documents in the ERP system.
This position is in San Martino di Trecate (NO), Italy.
What will you be doing? Continuous maintenance, updating and optimisation of our product data and documents in the existing systems and databases.Checking recipes in accordance with occupational Health and Safety and production capability guidelines.Creating new products and recipes in the ERP system.Checking and supporting the implementation and documentation of product rationalizations. Data management for raw materials.Blocking and monitoring of blocked recipes in databases.Interface for the exchange of product data information with internal and external parties, considering safety and environment aspects and specifications. Who are You? Completed chemical training, ideally with subsequent further training as a chemical technician and/or comparable training or studies with initial work experience.Very good knowledge of organic and inorganic chemistry.Professional experience in the field of product data management and/or technical documentation. What competencies will you need? Knowledge of European transport legislation and dangerous goods classification desirable.Strong IT affinity and experience in working with ERP software (SAP/JD Edwards).Very good MS Office user skills, especially Excel.Good written and spoken English skills.Team-oriented, communicative, and assertive. You will receive a company laptop computer and you will access to the company canteen.
Working time: 38 hours/week. Mon-Thu 8:30 -12:30, 13:30 -17:30, Fri 8:30 -12:30, 13:30 -15:30 with half an hour of morning (8:30 -9:00) flexibility guaranteed.
