**LEAD VISUAL DESIGNER - Automotive**

**Automotive Visual Designers** at Pininfarina create the visual, tactile and other sensory aspects of interactive experiences that involve functionality or content used by drivers and passengers. It is a full spectrum of mobility activities inside and outside the vehicle which makes up the design task. The sensory aspects make up the communication of a brand expression and providing users with a desirable confidence from their experiences.

For this role, the
**Lead Visual Designer** will draw from his or her experience in designing automotive information and mobility interaction systems to direct the efforts of Visual, Audio, Motion, and Mixed Reality Designers. Their mission starts from experience definition and visual concept design to creating and enforcing a style guide, detailed design of graphical interfaces and interactive elements, concept mock-ups, development & user evaluations. They work within multi-disciplinary teams, including other design disciplines as well as HW & SW developers.

**Your Tasks**:

- Lead the design and creation concepts of visual, tactile, audio, and other sensory aspects enhancing the definition of the full mobility experience
- Supervise the creation and enforcement a style guide or visual language to ensure consistency across all experience channels.
- Detailed interface design including visual and interaction elements - layout, colours, fonts, icons and animations
- Support user research, trends research, competitive research & benchmarking
- Participate in experience ideation, story mapping, experience mocking up & user evaluation
- Participate in concepts mocking up & user evaluation
- Support the realization of technical POCs
- Support HW & SW development & user testing

- Proficiency with cutting-edge design methods, software and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Protopie, Adobe XD & CC, etc.

**Your Profile**:

- University degree in Visual Design, Graphic Design, or other related design fields
- Experience working in a variety of organizations (start-up, corporate, agency/consultancy)
- Experience in designing UI elements, micro-interactions, animations & transitions
- Academic, professional, or life experience from outside the design field that enriches your perspective as a designer
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
- Previous experience on product and automotive field
