As Category development manager in Italy you contribute to the roll out of the strategic plans for Biscoff and Nakd in close collaboration with the team. The role is responsible for providing basic category segment data analysis (macro & micro level) for selected retail customers for Lotus Biscoff in Sweet Biscuits & Spreads and for our Natural Foods portfolio. This as well in retail as out of home.
**Functiebeschrijving**:
The Category manager will analyse category/core range performance by using available data/insight sources: IRI, Gfk Customer specific insights &Lotus Bakeries’ consumer/shopper research
He/she will bring our category data alive by providing the retail team with the right dashboards and will help the sales team by building strong category stories, helping the listing and distribution of our brands.
The role will also track and evaluate competitors performance and deduct the right learnings to be applied in our plans. Focus point in this area will be the analysis of the promotional effectiveness from competition, and Lotus, in order to build the strongest possible plan.
One of the main responsibilities is create KPI dashboards ans insightsfull reports.
The job involves the sharing of all the analytical insights with the Sales Manager and Marketing Manager to help shape the Commercial Account Plans together with the sales team.
The role reports directly to the Country Manager.
**Profiel**:
- Master diploma, preferably in an economic direction
- Experienced (min. 5y) in retail FMCG sector
- You love data
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- PC literate (MS Office, Access, Excel ,Powerpoint) SAP knowledge helpful.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken Italian, strong understanding of English (written and spoken)
- Teamplayer, Open Dialogue, Passion
- Strong interpersonal skills
- accurate, punctual, conscientious, can handle figures.
- Multitask handling, good organization & coordination skills
