**Investment/ M&A Manager, Private Equity backed Tech Business, Milan**

We are currently working with a private equity backed technology business based in Milan.

The business is already very successful and has an excellent position in their target market.

The business is very acquisitive, and are now looking to add an Investment / M&A Manager to their Milan team.

The role will support origination and investment activities in Italy and other countries part of their expansion strategy.

**Your day-to-day responsibilities will include**:

- developing relationships to originate leads and support deal execution
- analysing potential investment opportunities supporting all stages of their investment processes
- collaborate with key internal stakeholders across all their corporate functions and business units and earn a deep understanding of their business and levers for value creation in the tech sector
- actively contribute to our team management activities and the professional development of the junior M&A team

**They are looking for someone with a background as follows**:

- VP level investment banking, corporate development or private equity professional
- Relevant working experience at an investment bank, corporate finance advisor, private equity or established venture capital firm or M&A in a business
- Excellent deal sheet -Ability to work in an independent, proactive and goal-oriented manner, with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Team-player, enjoys working with other individuals and seeks to contribute to a collaborative, friendly working environment
- Outstanding analytical skills and detail-oriented attitude
