As the Production Team Leader, you will manage the daily operations of a lean manufacturing production plant. You will reports to the Operations Manager with direct responsibility over Manufacturing area, managing HSE aspects, coordinating Maintenance activities and developing improvement plans. The Production Manager directly cooperates with all other functions, especially Planning, Purchase, Logistic and Quality, but also with Sales, in order to identify optimal manufacturing strategy to meet commercial requirements.
**Main tasks**
- Manage Manufacturing area implementing the production plan, with particular attention to all details linked to Quality and HSE, guaranteeing optimal resources utilization to maximize performances and meet commercial requirements
- Verify and guarantee that actual Production results meet estimated time and cost
- Control, in cooperation with Planning, Purchase and Logistic, materials availability (raw material and packaging material) to meet the plan
- Manage Manufacturing human resources, ensuring required training and respect of Company policies and operating manuals and instructions
- Monitor production performances, prepare and analyze KPI, identifying issues and opportunities for continuous improvement plans, proactively proposing and then, upon alignment with the Operations Manager, implementing improvement measures
- Coordinate Maintenance area, managing resolution of machine stop and breakdown to ensure meeting production plan and analyzing data to prepare preventive and extraordinary maintenance activity to boost availability and performance of the production lines
- Coordinate HSE function, in cooperation with RSPP, managing DVR update, creating Company procedures and supervising the respect of them and the training/education plans prepared, analyzing incidents and near miss, continuously improving company culture towards Safety aspects
- Manage KPI preparation and analysis, including HSE trends, preparing reports for continuous improvement and sharing them with IFF Group
- Update the Environmental Code, managing all related aspects (waste, energies, dangerous materials,)
- Manage, coordinate and handle relations with External Authorities and Control bodies, ensuring regulatory update
**Job Requirements**:
**Required Skills**:
- Engineer or Technical equivalent background (bachelor’s degree)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management.
- English and Italian at fluent level.
- Multidisciplinary competences in Manufacturing, Maintenance and HSE area
- Problem solving and analytical approach
- Good knowledge of food safety aspects
