**Job Summary**:
We are looking for an Automation Intern to support the Maintenance Department and the Production Team with topics related to maintenance and automation. In this position you will cooperate with several stakeholders, including Quality, WCM, Customer Service, building your knowledge on how the packaging material is produced.

This a six-month curricular internship position based in Tetra Pak Carta Spa (RE), Italy. - Rubiera

The internship starts on September 1st.

**What you will do**:

- You will have the possibility to learn production lines and machines of converting factory and contribute to solve related issues
- You will participate to the mapping, planning and implementation of Maintenance activities, Corrective-TBM-CBM and Predictive Maintenance
- You will work to improve reliability & efficiency of production lines, improving the diagnostic capabilities, developing improvement and participating in troubleshooting of complex faults
- You will learn process control systems, quality barrier systems and SPC control system, installed in continuous cycle production lines
- As an Automation Intern you will support development, validation, documentation and maintenance of innovative Mechatronic solutions related to production line in converting factory, based on the actual integrated automation architecture

**We believe you have**:

- You are a Master's student in mechatronics/electronics/automation engineering (active student status is a must)
- You are available for a 6 months, full time, temporary curricular internship (you can develop your master's thesis during the internship)
- Basic knowledge of PLC - control system based on Industrial PC (PLC Siemens S7 & TIA Portal programming languages is considered a plus)
- Basic knowledge of Information & Operational Technology, operating system and IP networks (knowledge of industrial network Profinet - Profibus is considered a plus)
- Knowledge of HMI systems (Siemens Wincc is considered a plus)
- Knowledge of Mechanics & Electrical/Automation (Drive System - Motors and servomotor) & close loop control systems
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Analytical, collaborative and communicative
