The will support the Group Environmental Manager and the HSE Central Department, on the management of environmental topics, on the implementation of the Pirelli Environmental Strategy, Policies and Procedures, with the aim to improve the Group environmental performances and support the central, regional and site management teams to ensure the compliance with the environmental regulations. The Environmental Specialist will operatively support the Life Cycle Assessment of Pirelli’s products and services.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the collection and reporting of the environmental data, monitoring and benchmarking the local units performances, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Participate to the development and the update of the Group environmental procedures, and support their implementation, ensuring the alignment among the local units, including onsite activities.
- Provide technical support to the central departments and the local units on the assessment of environmental aspects risks, potential liabilities, emergency preparedness and response, on the development of proper improvement plans and corrective actions, identifying and promoting the adoption of the best environmental practices.
- Support the environmental audits to ensure that the ISO 14001 management systems are properly implemented and maintained.
- Support the central regional and local teams in the implementation of the legal requirements, assessing potential impacts of new applicable regulations, anticipating the short, medium and long-term needs of the Group.
- Support in the deliver training and contribute to the design of training courses and communication campaigns in order to increase the Group environmental awareness.
- Support in designing and planning soil remediation projects.

**Requirements**:

- Master's Degree in Environmental engineering, Chemistry engineering, Environmental science.
- At least two years of experience in environmental position within the manufacturing industry or environmental consultancy.
- Italian and Fluent English.
