We are looking for a Procurement and Logistics Specialist to join Electrification Products Division in Business Unit Distribution Solutions in Dalmine (BG) in the Logistics team that takes care of the inbound and outbound activities and the management of the entire goods flow.
**This position reports to**:
Procurement Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Implement plans for optimizing goods flow to reach the business targets.
- Be directly involved in sourcing and managing current and new logistics suppliers.
- Be involved in the analysis of the current flow so to define improvements or alternative scenarios, identify performance gaps and provide a reliable action plan to solve them.
- Collaborate with the Logistics team, various figures within the Local Business Unit (Production, Order Handling, Product Marketing) and with several global suppliers as you will be the focal point between external providers and ABB’s needs.
- Be involved in activities to digitalize supply chain and reporting activities.
**Your background**:
- Master degree in Engineering (preferably Management).
- Demonstrated experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures.
- Knowledge and good usage of Office package (SAP, powerBI knowledge is a plus).
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills both in Italian and English language.
