Distribution Planner

**Position**:
The Distribution Planner is responsible for managing the efficient movement of goods within the supply chain. They deploy strategies to optimize the distribution network, enhance efficiency, and improve overall logistics performance while ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
The position is based in Rome HQ.
**Job responsibilities**:
Distribution Network Optimization:
- Implement actions to optimize the distribution network, enhancing efficiency, reducing transportation costs, and improving overall logistics performance.
- Analyze and evaluate distribution network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Inventory Management and Order Fulfillment:
- Ensure accurate inventory visibility and efficient order fulfillment processes to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust as needed to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
Continuous Improvement and Process Enhancement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize distribution planning processes, enhance efficiency, and adapt to changing business conditions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating new ideas and methodologies into the distribution planning function.
Performance Monitoring and Risk Management:
- Define and monitor distribution KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Identify potential risks within the distribution planning process and develop strategies to mitigate their impact on the business, ensuring mínimal impact on customer satisfaction and business performance.
**Profile**:
- Master’s degree in Management Engineering
- Fluency in English and Italian; French language will be a plus
- Minimum 3/4 years’ experience in a similar role, within the luxury industry
- Anaplan knowledge will be a plus
- Excel expert with strong analytical skills, PowerBI will be a plus
