**About the Role**
The **Technical Leader** will ensure the whole design process for the assigned innovation-based projects, providing high-level technical competences. He will coordinate design resources, leveraging both the specialist knowledge from the Group R&D Competence Centers and from the relevant companies' engineering teams.

The Technical Leader reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer and functionally to the relevant Divisional Technical Director, based on the assigned projects.

Main responsibilities include:

- Leading the design process of the projects assigned in collaboration with the heads of the relevant companies' Engineering teams, being responsible for the technical solution offered and delivered in terms of design, functionality and cost, coherently with Division's/Company's requirements and needs;
- Providing high-level engineering competences to the projects assigned, in close collaboration with the CEC Competence Centers and Company engineering teams;
- Coordinating design resources (mechanical, electrical and software) for the whole duration of the assigned projects, leveraging also the Coesia Companies' resources assigned to the project;
- When needed, acting as a technical point of contact in front of the customer during the design process.

**About You**
- Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical/Automation, Electronics/Electrical or Mechatronic);
- Relevant experience in project/design and production of machines within high-tech machinery industries (Packaging / Automation / Robotics / Food);
- Learning agility and ability to understand Coesia products' design;
- Good knowledge of CAD / 3D tools, FEM (Finited Elements Method) structural calculation, design of electro-mechanical devices;
- Solid knowledge of feasibility studies;
- Knowledge of the main tools and processes of machine simulation, as a plus;
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving attitude;
- Experience in coordination of project teams and in matrix organizations, within international groups;
- Continuous improvement attitude;
- Leadership, communication, influencing and people management skills;
- Availability to travel.
