**Business Overview**:
**Job Purpose**:
Reporting to the FP&A Director, Southwest Europe, this role's primary focus is to be Finance Business Partner of the Production Managers in Italy, analyze/check the fix manufacturing costs in Italy, Spain and France and suggest opportunities for continued improvement of processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monthly KPI preparation and analysis,
- Moving average costs daily check,
- Product Costing check at month end,
- Analysis of purchasing spend (direct / indirect), check on purchasing contract compliance,
- Monitoring of Inventory aging & identification of actions to reduce aged materials,
- Stock movements (in/out) checks (daily and monthly),
- Supply chain Budget and Forecast preparation,
- Product consumption analysis,
- Freight costs (in/out) analysis,
- Specific cost reduction activities proposal and subsequent monitoring,
- Integration projects assists to ERP integration activities,
- Compliance responsibility in SOX controls of the supply chain area (Stock take activity, Monthly Cost roll up);
- Support operations in Capex requests with Financial modeling,
- Ad hoc analysis required by the management (Local, Regional and Global).

**Skills and Competencies**:

- University degree in Economics or Engineering
- At least 5 years of working experience, including positions in manufacturing environment (production and/or logistics)
- Familiar with general GAAP / Cost Accounting principles
- Familiar with manufacturing processes and Bill of Materials / Routings
- Experience in Chemicals, Cosmetic or Food industry would be nice to have but are not mandatory
- Knowledge of ERPs: SAP (preferred), Oracle or similar
- Experience gathering and analysing data
- Reporting Systems: knowledge of Planning/HFM preferred but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of the main Business Intelligence tools preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in a complex matrix organization preferred but not strictly mandatory
- Team player and ability to work under tough deadlines
- Ability to deal with people/managers at different levels
- Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory
