Cost Saving Leader

For a structured multinational company that manufactures standard machinery, we are looking for a:
**COST SAVING LEADER**

The figure will be placed within Sourcing Excellence function and will coordinate all cost saving production activities within the company with a focus on direct materials. It is a cross-departmental figure who will have to focus on the creation and generation of new cost saving ideas.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Collection and analysis of the costs of processes and suppliers;
- estimation of costs and comparison of budgets with actual expenses;
- creation, implementation and monitoring of new cost saving projects;
- leadership of the cross-functional work team for the identification of cost saving ideas and projects;
- ownership of specific cross-functional projects;
- weekly update with the Top Management on cost saving projects;
- support to the Management in decisions regarding investments, market growth, price changes, new suppliers, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or similar sector;
- experience as a cost analyst, cost specialist or similar role;
- experience in data analysis, operational and financial;
- fluent knowledge of the English language is essential.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, good communication and leadership skills complete the profile.
