What is the role of the Digital Sales and Marketing Executive?
- At Franklin Templeton our sales team develops strong business partnerships with our clients, who are institutional asset owners, consultants, fund buyers and fund sellers. Our goal is to foster relationships with advisors who are more digital-sensitive and develop new ways to capture market information to improve FT sales decisions. As a Digital Sales and Marketing Executive you will play an integral part in driving our digital capability to strengthen and grow our relationships with our client base.
- What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Digital Sales and Marketing Executive?
- The goal is to create a unique and specialized digital sales/marketing offering. Acting as reference point for all activities related to:
- Developing new business_ and enlarging contacts in CRM for each client, generating and owning leads-
- Assisting in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with customers-
- Drive and make recommendations_ regarding how to engage customers most effectively within digital channels-
- Identify new trends_ in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments-
- Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns-
- Content and Mailing:_ accountable for the management of the mailing calendar, developing content for the marketing department and coordinating the necessary mailing for product campaigns and events. Assist the sales team in managing financial advisors’ content and mailing requests. Write and optimize content for the website and social networking accounts such as LinkedIn and Twitter and arrange webinars and webcasts-
- Social Media:_ development of content focused on FTI products or events targeted to professional and institutional investors. Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media and collaborate on developing optimized online adverts through digital media, both on product and brand-
- Sales & Marketing Intelligence_: analyze mailing, social media, and web activities of financial advisers in cooperation with sales and client insight to:
determine target recipient in mailing activities-
- generate meaningful insights on distributors, financial advisors and create profiles to facilitate Sales team in their relationships-
- Market Knowledge:_ increase general knowledge of market conditions, FTI products and company policy/procedural information by utilizing websites, DBI (Daily Business Intelligence), financial magazines, and marketing reports. Maintain knowledge of distribution channels, cross marketing campaigns and techniques, and firm specific promotions-
- Communication_: partner with local, regional, and global teams to ensure achievement of business objectives and identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency-
- Editing and writing skills_
- :_ devise and edit content for various digital platforms. Writing blog posts may well be an integral part of the job.- What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience-
- 3 years of Mutual Fund Industry experience-
- Marketing/Sales or service experience-
- Strong knowledge of Italian financial services industry-
- Strong Knowledge of Digital and Social Media Channels: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube-
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written Italian and English communication skills-
- Ability to develop successful relationships with clients across channels-
- Excellent consultative selling and presentation skills-
- Display integrity, manage work pressures and act as a company advocate- Job Level: Individual Contributor
