Are you a dynamic and ambitious scientist ready to make an impact in the booming field of aging and its role in cancer?

**Unleash Your Potential**

As a Junior Group Leader at IFOM, you will be part of the emerging wave of scientists involved in understanding the mechanistic bases of aging, preferentially in mammalian systems and with the ambition to make an impact on human conditions. You will be able to interact and complement established research groups in IFOM studying the mechanisms and impact of cellular senescence, telomere biology, cell plasticity and mechanobiology with the intent of establishing and contributing to thriving community in IFOM interested on aging and its impact on human disorders, cancer first. You will make the most of IFOM in-house assets ranging from the ability to run large pharmachological and genetic screens, to multi-centric clinical trials.

Collaborate closely with basic and data scientists, experimental pathologists, and clinical oncologists, contributing to and shaping innovative mechanism-inspired clinical trials. A newly established liaison with the new department in Computing Sciences, an interdisciplinary center for research in fundamental and modeling problems in information and computation at Bocconi University - Milan, will also allow to foster the deployment of AI in the translational field.

**Qualifications**
- MD, MD/PhD or PhD and postdoctoral research experience;
- Strong publication record;
- Potential to establish an independent, externally-funded research program;

- Proven success in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams;
