Head of Apac Logistics Contracting Commodity

**Job Description**:
**COMPANY PROFILE**:
**Basic Function**:
Head of Logistics Contracting Commodity is responsible for all contracts about Transport and Logistic services in APAC Region. He/she needs to coordinate a team of buyers in the management and negotiation of transport contracts (inbound to plants, finished goods and spare parts distribution) and logistic services (compound, warehousing, packaging, sequencing, etc). He/she is responsible for RFQ and RFI management to satisfy business needs and bring competitive advantage to CNH.

**Responsibilities, Accountabilities**:

- Contract management: creation and maintenance of contracts with suppliers, working closely with Legal and Compliance functions
- RFQ and RFI: management and execution according to service requirements defined by the Business
- Be the key reference for internal stakeholders (Commercial Department, Transport Logistics, Manufacturing, After Market Solutions), with daily interactions.
- Budget: definition & follow up, individuation and implementation of saving/cost avoidance initiatives
- Logistic analysis: to support the central department in ad hoc logistic studies for production footprint changes or for specific distribution analysis
- Ensure compliance to the Company’s business principles, policies, standards and procurement policies
- Escalation reference for all issues with contractual providers

**Job Requirements and qualifications**:

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with different stakeholders across a complex organization
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Good knowledge of transport management & operations, deep knowledge of transport market, architecture, and type of services (FTL/LTL, parts distribution, wholegoods, etc)
- Solid analytical skills and very good capacity to present effectively key data to Management
- Influence on a budget of about 60 mio$
- Educated to degree level or equivalent (Engineering or Economics)
- Willingness to travel when required
- 12-15 years’ experience in Procurement or Logistics functions
- Fluent written and oral English is mandatory, knowledge of another language is a plus

- Good capacity to present key data to the Management
- Relationship’s builder and capacity to create the right team spirit
- Independence and leadership
- Capacity of managing multiple tasks and working under pressure
