**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

Support objectives definition and maintaining of the internal audit program for value stream processes and new make products, in compliance with applicable regulatory and statutory requirements, promoting common guidelines for the audit management system across the Organizations, to include supply chain survey and CRO/MRO activities

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Establish the extent of the audit program according to the relevant objectives and any known constraints, coordinating and scheduling all audits within the audit program
- Determine the external and internal issues, and risks and opportunities that can affect the audit program, and implement actions to address them, integrating these actions in all relevant auditing activities, as appropriate
- Communicate the audit program to the audit client and, as appropriate, relevant interested parties
- Ensure the selection of audit teams and the overall competence for the auditing activities by assigning roles, responsibilities and authorities, and supporting leadership, as appropriate
- Support providing guidelines for a correct audit execution and ensuring the execution of the internal audit program with the support of the company auditors
- Ensure that appropriate documented information is prepared and maintained, including audit program records
- Support appropriate continual development activities to maintain the necessary competence to manage the audit program by supporting auditors' competences training and updating the relevant register
- Support monitoring, review and improvement of the audit program by establishing a correct measurement system and updating the relevant KPIs
- Support coordination and implementation of the New Make audit program in compliance with Quality Management System, Control Authorities and Customer requirements, with the contributions from Site Quality System, Customer Quality and Supplier Quality
- Lead the internal audits and assure the principles of auditing
- Ensure verification of completion and effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions related to the audit findings, also with the contribution of the Site Quality System managers
- Promote improvement actions based on audits data analysis

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree with previous experience in ASD Quality
- Lead Auditor qualification
- Demonstrated knowledge of:

- Audit principles, methods and processes
- AS management system standards, other relevant standards and reference/guidance documents
- Information regarding the auditee and its context (e.g. external/internal issues, relevant interested parties and their needs and expectations, business activities, products, services and processes of the auditee)
- Applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and other requirements relevant to the business activities of the auditee (e.g. Part 21 & Part 145, EMAR21 & EMAR145)
- EU Work permit
- Italian and English fluent
