Pharmacovigilance & Safety Director

The purpose of the job is to manage and coordinate PV & Safety projects and services in order to meet client’s expectations and business goals, ensuring optimization and respecting Company profitability, with the support of delegated Senior Drug Safety Manager.
He/she liaises with the Managing Director and the Business Development Department to guarantee customer satisfaction and develop new business opportunities for the Company.

**Accountabilities**

To delegate to the Senior Drug Safety Manager the daily management of PV & Safety projects and resources

To be responsible for the creation and management of the functional budgets delegated and approved by the Managing Director

To escalate to the Managing Director and the Business Development Department Major/Critical Risks for the Client relationship

To delegate to the Senior Drug Safety Manager one or more of the following activities and accountabilities:
To contribute to and ensure optimal public relations activities and brand awareness

To assess customers’ feedback and make necessary improvements

To develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients

To escalate to the Managing Director Major/Critical Risks for the Client relationship

To be the owner of processes to ensure that Department processes are efficient and cost effective and ready for internal or external Inspections according to defined strategy

To identify successful drivers and be accountable for defining and managing KPIs for strategical processes to guarantee continuous improvement of SeQure services

To monitor resources’ performances on key processes

To guarantee the compliance to the current regulations

To coordinate and manage the business units within the framework of SeQure’s values, mission and strategies

To prepare and get approval for the yearly programmatic plan for the department

To be the final accountable for the overall workload of the department, ensuring departments profitability through efficient target allocation rates and resources billability

To assure the clients receive the requested services ensuring the quality of the projects’ deliveries within the agreed budget and profitability

To be accountable for PV & Safety project portfolio management and its risk management

To be accountable for PV & Safety active client portfolio management

To define goals for their reports and monitors their performances

To collect feedbacks from their reports in order to plan their carrier progression and assess the training requirements

To coach and motivate direct reports

To manage resources in agreement with HR processes

To validate and manage the technical partnership in line with the business strategy

**Professional Background and Experience**

Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences / Scientific matters

At least 15 years of relevant work experience in Pharmacovigilance & Safety with at least 10 years of supervisory experience
