**Role Purpose**

As Operations HSSE & Sustainability Director, you are accountable for enabling the Company to meet its strategic objectives and improve its performance.

You are responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing your discipline(s) frameworks, promoting and embedding strong leadership, role model positive behaviour and culture and drive continuous improvement.

**Role Responsibilities**
- You develop and implement your discipline(s) control frameworks in line with SBM's strategic objectives.
- You provide training, awareness, and resources for employees on discipline(s) topics.
- You work closely with different departments to integrate discipline(s) practices.
- You promote strong leadership and a positive culture within the organization.
- You oversee compliance with discipline(s) regulations and industry standards.
- You conduct audits/reviews, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- You drive continuous improvement of the discipline(s) control framework, drawing from lessons learned and experience.
- You monitor and report on performance.
- You promote the company to external stakeholders as a trusted partner on your discipline’s matters.
- You develop and manage your department's objectives, plans, and budget.
- You develop and manage your department's talents.

**Education**

You have a master’s degree in engineering, science, or a related HSSE, Q&R, Sustainability, ESG discipline, with a focus on HSSE, Q&R, Sustainability, ESG management or relevant field.

**Experience**

A Minimum 15-20 years of cumulative experience in the Oil and Gas industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of HSSE, Q&R, Sustainability, ESG management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

**Additional Requirements**
- Fluent in English.
