ABB’s Legal & Integrity team is a pro-active and strategic business partner, with a strong focus on quality, customers and the company’s best interest. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in the Legal team in the Motion business area in the BA Function Legal & Integrity division, based in Sesto San Giovanni.

**This position reports to**:
Region/Country Legal/Integrity Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Business Acumen: Provide professional advice and counsel to ABB management across either a broad range of legal and/ or integrity issues, or within one specialist area, oversee or manage legal or integrity matters and/ or processes as directed. Ensure consistency in services and advice.
- Business Acumen: Take part or assist with managing diverse change or efficiency projects within the L&I team. Manage deliverables and support innovation and automation activities for the team and in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, and business managers.
- Setting legal & integrity strategies: Anticipate and identify legal and/or integrity issues of concern to management and proactively develops effective legal strategies and practical solutions. Support and identify the most efficient way of supporting or executing L&I strategic projects and goals. Monitor and support progress in their field of professional service.
- Setting legal & integrity strategies: Execute as per L&I team or function strategy. Identify need for, implement or update Company policies and procedures, contributes to the development. Ensure the implementation of both local and Group legal and integrity policies and procedures and monitors on-going integrity.
- Governance: Ensure good corporate governance in the area of accountability at relevant business area, support implementation of the Code of Conduct and on-going integrity training. May assist in investigation and resolution of any integrity issues that arise

**Your background**:

- A Master’s degree in Law
- At least 3 years of previous experience in other multinational manufacturing companies
- Business English and Italian level, both written and spoken
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent managerial skills
- Proactivity, teamwork skills, problem solving and result orientation
