**QC (Quality Control) Manager**:
**JOB MISSION**:
Manage and implement the Quality programme, coordinating plant quality activities and the execution of testing and monitoring services.
Identify and eliminate defects after a product has been developed and before it is released to the market, to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting the company's quality, safety, efficacy and sustainability requirements

**DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Managing compliance with quality requirements and targets defined by QA
- Managing product control and testing for defects/ non-conformities
- Managing the QC Pillar as a contact person within the Davines Operational Excellence programme (LINDA)
- Responsible for quality problem solving methodologies and tools
- Managing the elimination of Non-Conformities throughout the production chain and product range while complying with quality standards

TECHNICAL SKILLS & BACKGROUND

MUST HAVE
- Knowledge of problem solving methodologies (PDCA or structured DMAIC)
- Knowledge of PFMEA (Process FMEA)
- Knowledge of the process of building control plans
- Knowledge of methodologies for reducing NCs in the supply chain (e.g. 8 stage incoming material)
- Knowledge and management of statistical process control
- Knowledge of machine defect methodologies (e.g. QM Matrix)
- Knowledge of ISO9000 and GMP starndards
- Chemical and microbiological skills
- Capacity for data analysis and advanced statistical processing
- At least two years' experience in highly structured and quality-oriented production companies (or equivalent) in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, chemical or related fields
- Experience in the use of databases and digital analysis tools
- Experience of at least 5 years in the role and in structured contexts with a high propensity for product and process quality is welcome
- At least 2 years' experience in process engineering in structured companies with a focus on operational excellence is desirable
- Fluent English

NICE TO HAVE
- Pillar Leader QC WCM certification
- Green Belt certification or higher
- Other certifications in LEAN
- Many years of experience in ISO 17025 accredited laboratories
