Role Overview

**Job Overview and Responsibilities**
- **Comply with Solvay HSE standards and procedures**
- ** Contribute to the continued development of HSE standard and procedures**
- ** Perform trials and experiments focussed at assessing a materials process ability**
- ** Characterize prototypes**
- **Collect and document information and process data to perform basic data analysis**
- ** Provide a summary either via reports or presentations of trials, experiments and test results**
- ** Work as part of a global department and in cross-functional teams**
- ** Take a lead in the management of material and part inventory**

**Education and Experience**
**Must have Education**:

- ** High School degree in Chemistry or equivalent**

**Skills**
- ** Practical experience in the processing of Solvay Materials or a similar discipline**
- ** Demonstrate their ability to overcome obstacles and to work with limited supervision**
- ** Express an interest in their daily tasks and a desire to continually develop and learn**
- ** Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to form new relationships**
- ** Positive attitude**
- ** Good time management skills**
- ** Diligence and attention to detail**
- ** Practical experience with extrusion processing and molding technologies (Film, Pipes, Wire and Cables) for High Performance materials**
- ** A basic understanding of material characteristics and properties**
