Digital Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a passionate digital marketeer with a deep understanding of modern online communication for cycling and outdoor brands who will help us define and deliver the global digital marketing strategy across all the touchpoints with the end-user.
The Digital Marketing specialist is responsible for defining the global digital marketing strategy together with the marketing manager and its delivery across the available channels including social media, corporate website, CRM and third parties.
The role requires a deep understanding of the current digital marketing environment including its future trends and evolution, together with a strong personal passion for cycling.
This role requires experience in building strong brands digital experience with consumer first approach. While working collaboratively with the cross functional team lead, the Digital Marketing Specialist will deliver comprehensive marketing plans & initiatives to strengthen the brand online, supporting the global marketing strategy.
**Responsibilities**:
- Demonstrate and understanding of consumer, digital marketing & buying trends.
- Deep understanding of the cycling world and its trends.
- Evolve brand calendar into a digital-first plan taking into consideration commercial and consumer needs across digital channels.
- Manage and execute digital marketing strategies & activation plans, tactics for digital account to fuel demand, raise brand awareness and consideration, improve engagement across consumer touchpoints, drive traffic and increase conversion.
- Define and manage a global social media strategy which includes posting and community management.
- Coordinate the central digital marketing team designing and implementing new pages and sections of the website, aligning with product launches.
- Manage, analyze, activate and expand the social media ambassador program making sure all the entities engaged are aligned with the brand and the product.
- Planning and managing the digital activation of the sponsorships with professional teams and single athletes.
- Track & analyze marketing activities / results and leverage insights to continuously improve marketing activities.
- Improve the use and set-up of marketing automation and CRM tools to manage the funnel more effectively.
- Understand customers’ needs and benefits to capture key insights and messages and feed them into your campaigns and marketing plans.
- Work collaboratively with different teams (including corporate communication, sales, events) to deliver optimized brand experience, brand presence, impactful product launches, and digital content in line with brand calendar. / Work with all business stakeholders to develop digital strategies that focuses on the right assortment and the right activation strategy within the marketplace & consumer first approach.
- Educate, influence, inform regularly key stakeholders in the organization about digital developments, opportunities and needed capabilities.
- Elaborate CRM & loyalty strategy and plans globally for brand building.
**Requirement**:
- Education: University Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum experience of 2 years in digital Brand business or Digital marketing. Ideally, you already worked in the cycling/outdoor industry.
- You have experience in the interpretation of analytics data.
- Familiar with content production.
- Experience with ambassador/influencer management.
- Technical understanding of online business and digital marketing processes / Good understanding of technical products.
- Understanding of social media strategies and brand building tactics & KPIS, especially Instagram and YouTube.
- Experience in CRM.
- Experience in website management from a strategic point of view (no coding).
- Management of social media channels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong business acumen.
- Comfortable in dealing with changing requirements, conflicting priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Team player who can work independently within a multi-cultural team across multiple geographic locations.
- Language skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
