Intern Field Service Technician - Sicily

Are you looking for a challenging **Inter** **Field Service** **Technician** - **Sicily **position for a period between 6 to 12 months where you can really be a part of a team? Do you enjoy working in a supportive role, assisting the local sales force and customers? And are you good at working together with for example our Customer Service Center, the financial departments and our head office in the Netherlands? Then please read on to the position of **Field Service Technician Intern - Stage Extra Curriculare**.**
**Key accountabilities**:

- Installation of the surgical equipment at the site (installation of hardware, backup systems, software, including overnight deliveries when required).
- Test and check equipment for technical specifications.
- Technical support and field repair of all DORC machines, solving first line defects.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and calibration procedures.
- Attend relevant inter-company training events, meetings, trade fair meetings.
- Reporting of the following to National Sales Manager (and TAT Manager) or Headquarters:

- Results of installation / demonstration / training
- Complaints and technical defects or improvements.
- To complete administration, documentation and log-files according to regulations and company requirements.

**Skills, know-how and experience**:

- Technical Bachelor/Master Degree (or equivalent ability) in related field, preferably bio-medical engineer.
- Technical professional secondary school degree
- Technical knowledge and insight to find and resolve technical issues.
- Fluent in local language and English (C1 level), written and spoken.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong social skills to interact and work well with others.
- As a team player connect, cooperate and learn as a team.
- Service oriented, drive to recognize and meet customer needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Willing to spend at least 70% of the time traveling within the country.
