**About the Role**
In our headquarter in Bologna we are looking for a seasoned professional to join our Group purchasing department. This is a challenging role which combines the opportunity to lead the Coesia Purchasing projects & governance upskills together with a direct impact on the business.

As **procurement excellence manager** you will:

- Lead the procurement center of excellence, including procurement systems, processes, and projects, to drive best practices and continuous improvement.
- Execute the global and regional standardization and transformation project pipelines to reach global must win battles targets
- Build and develop strong, collaborative internal and external relationships at all levels, to provide support and guidance, champion supply chain excellence and best practice and optimize end to end supply chain performance
- Develop and implement supplier relationship management (SRM) strategies to optimize supplier performance, mitigate risks, and drive innovation
- Lead sustainable sourcing initiatives to support social and environmental responsibility, including the development of supplier sustainability programs
- Constantly try to understand the internal needs by partnering with the business units and to complete long term frame agreements with the vendors to be applied across Coesia.
- Strongly interact with internal stakeholders such as R&D, Quality, Sustainability and HSE in order to effectively transfer to the supply base the group Technical requirements.
- Promote and monitor Cost Change activities within the company coherently with the company's objectives.
- Support yearly budgeting and monthly forecasting processes

**What You Need to Be Successful**
- A proven experience in purchasing roles; preferably coming from well-organized companies;
- A proficient use of Office Suite;
