We are looking for an experienced **Quality Inspector** to join our team at HIAB. The purposes of this role are to ensure & develop product quality inside the factory functions, the management of ISO Standards, customer specific and business quality systems, providing results driven QA & QC leadership, using lean and best practice for the plant.

The Quality Inspector manages, develops and maintains the process quality functions at the factory in accordance with customer expectation and implements the end to end Quality on internal processes.

This role will be based in **Minerbio**, **Italy** and will report to the **QHSE Manager**.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the timely execution of Goods Inwards Inspections
- Works with EHS for safety/environmental impact/effect to eliminate or lessen such impacts/effects
- Lead, prepare and manage customer regulatory audits to include ISO and other customer specific requirements
- Internal audit management and reporting to Management
- Enable reporting of metrics for weekly and monthly reviews using of statistical process control tools
- Conduct ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14000, ISO 3834-2 and other certifications
- Product quality audits according to the separate product audit plan & remarks of the observations
- Conduct internal quality audits as required and follow up on corrective actions
- Coordinate MRB processes and ensure timely execution of material dispositions
- Status reporting on material scrap and rework
- Contribute to improvements regarding total cost of poor quality, including re-work hours
- Adapt and develop best practice with regard to factory quality processes
- Support the development of the project management and statistical approach (Lean/Six Sigma)

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Bsc or Msc (Engineering/Technology/Quality) or relevant industrial experience
- ISO Auditor Qualification (country specific)
- Minimum 4 years’ working experience in quality management and development in a similar position including international experience
- Good background in quality functions and process thinking in all operations
- Good experience from mechanical industry and assembly operations
- Experience in using ERP systems, LN preferable
- Significant experience in quality tools like PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control plans, 8D, Six sigma (Green Belt) and other quality tools
- Great communication, collaboration skills and leadership skills
- Drive for continuous improvement
- LSS-Yellow belt/Green belt
- English requirement: written Excellent, spoken Good
