**Responsibilities**:
- 1. Planning and Execution of Transport operation
- Secure safe operation for heavy lift transportation using only qualified Suppliers as per strat-egy from the Global Category Team;
- Ensure the safety of the teams and the equipment’s by respecting HSE regulations, in coordi-nation with HSE function, Transport Engineers and Insurance Company;
- Maintain communication with transport service providers to place transport orders, receive confirmation, monitor important milestones, and make sure to respect the process in place to achieve the agreed targets;
- Tracking the shipments, transport from the dispatch until delivery to the site, keeping regu-lar communication with freight forwarders, Transport Company, and factory (Project manag-er);
- Propose and support implementation of cost savings initiatives and risk mitigation projects;
- Address and escalate appropriately project activities not compliant with processes and pro-cedures, and/or not meeting savings target;
- Coordinate/execution Trade Activities for HL Projects, including tracking and Communication to all internal and external parties involved;
- Work closely with other factory function to generate projects and bring value on quality, cash, lead time, material availability and costs;
- Act as first level escalation for supplier issue resolution/hot topics including claims manage-ment;
- Represent Heavy Lift Transport function in project kick-off and subsequent meetings;
- When necessary, travel to the job site or loading site to supervise loading/unloading activities and/or Road Surveys with suppliers;
- Support factory General Cargo transports when needed;
- 2. Sourcing activities
- Manage Sourcing related activities for all Heavy Lift & Projects related inquiries (budgetary or firm) for factory;
- Prepare scope of work with all operational details for projects or more complex heavy lift material transports in line with factory requirements;
- Participate in the tendering process, be involved in all budgetary offers done at the factory level, RFQ process, analysis, negotiation at quotation phase; Owner of transportation cost set for the budget;
- Responsible for the negotiation with the supplier (supported by Hub TTL Manager) for firm quotations;
- Coordinate and Provide Information to TTL Hub Manager to bundle projects and volume to leverage on buying power and therewith reduce cost;
- Coordinate completion of required documentation from suppliers and factory;
- Transport Contracts - Adapt corporate contractual framework to the local business needs in the cases defined; Ensure that contract creation, execution and analysis are carried out for maximizing operational and financial performance and minimizing risk;
- 3. Cost and Risk Control
- Responsible for tracking and delivery the savings (cost out);
- Review that all the HL Projects has a clear Transport Project budget;
- Ensure that all costs are aligned with the tariffs and agreements with suppliers;
- Forecasting of Spend and Savings for HL operations: Planning, budget and forecasted cost for execution to be delivery in monthly base to TTL Hub Manager;
- Analysis of main cost slippages in the transport projects to implement lessons learnt for the future projects;
- Transport Project Risk Control: Provide input to risk review and forwarder proposal review; Contact with Transport Engineering Team and Insurance Company;

Your background
- Bachelor’s’ degree in engineering, supply chain management, and/or logistics management from an accredited university/college;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of project logistics, project management, or heavy lift transportation;
- Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks in a dynamic environment;
- Familiarity with transport cost structures and terms and conditions within the transport in-dustry (such as Incoterms, surcharges, weight /volume conversion factors etc;)
- Knowledge of international supply chain and logistics challenges;
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Strong written and verbal communications skills;
- Fluent in English;
- Advanced desktop computer skills including Microsoft Excel, MS Project and Outlook re-quired;
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at a specified location;
