Transport Planner - Intern

Main activities

The stageur, working in the Logistics Department, will provide support to plan and follow-up primary transportation from sources (factories and suppliers) to country warehouses.
In particular He/She will support the Physical Distribution Team in the followings activities:
Plan well saturated shipments from sources in accordance with the stock transfer orders proposed by the system or requested by the markets;
Book the shipments respecting the transport nomination
Transfer all the shipment requirements to the origin warehouse and to the carrier;
Follow-up the timely creation of all shipment documents;
Follow-up the respect of the loading booking slot and the ETA update till the arrival at destination
Follow-up the timely execution of customs formalities;
Bridge to the market Tracking information;
Coordinate Last Mile activities, improvement and corrective actions.
Analyze the logistic flow and shipments optimizing logistics process through time and cost analysis;
Who we are looking for

Management Engineering or Economics student or neo graduated;
Fluent in english;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
Appreciated the knowledge of SAP.

We offer a 6 month internship.
