Function in the organization.
Equipment and operation Technical Responsible is in charge of coordinating all activities in his perimeter as order and follow-up subcontractors’ contracts in the frame of retrieval radioactive waste (drums). He takes care about the manufacturing studies, procurement, manufacturing, assembling, first level of tests and factory acceptance tests before delivery of equipment.
In addition, he will be responsible of the interfaces (technical, maintenance, operation, time schedule) with the maintenance service, the operation service and other contracts, surveillance procedure, surveillance plan and all records needed to trace the activities carried out. The creation and edition of necessary documentation will be also a part of his activity (procedures of operation, technical report,).
He reports to the project manager all activities under his responsibility.
Associated objectives.
Equipment and operation Technical Responsible contributes to implement an operation plan in order to maximize the result of the contract.
Equipment and operation Technical Responsible ensures that the JRC rules are respected and applied correctly for his activity in the frame of the retrieval of radioactive waste (drums) contract in relation with the project manager.
Equipment and operation Technical Responsible ensures that the supporting documentation or reports are always archived correctly.
He ensures that all activities under his responsibilities are performed in accordance to the safety and quality procedures and follow the progress and the completion of tasks.
Main tasks.
Equipment and operation Technical Responsible performs the following tasks:
Technical document as equipment study, interfaces report, technical specification,
Technical operational procedures to explain in detail how to use the equipment on site to perform the activity (not the users and maintenance manual),
Organize with the project manager the arrival and introduction on site location of the equipment and the first step to transfer equipment to operational team,
Subcontractor’s follow-up documentation (MoM, control plan, planning),
Subcontractor’s follow-up documentation for tests and approval,
Organizing the training of the operator who will use the equipment
