MISSION
Packaging support for new initiatives launch in collaboration with R&D packaging
Provide ideas for improving and reducing costs, by standardizing and simplifying components.
Packaging support for new regulatory deployment on factory base business
Packaging support for quality issues
Packaging support for production
FUNCTION
Participate in the design of packaging during the design phase (provide input to R&D pack support).
Participate in kick offs for any new project assigned
Support FMEA and project hand over with R&D packaging team
Respect the steps of the New Product Development process for each development.
Alert the in case of any drift or delay in the execution of key Technical Product Development steps in relation to validated CPS
Originate tertiary packaging specifications (validate end-of-line configurations & run transport tests)
Manage development of suppliers' capability/capacity (root cause analysis in specs deviation)
Support quality improvement (analyze quality issue with quality team, revisit specification tolerance & modify delivery methods/packing instructions)
Support continuous improvement (partner with Operations to improve production processes & improvement to impact line efficiency)
Identify, assess, and implement cost saving opportunities
Create and validate the finished product specifications.
Manage the conduct of line trials within the commonly accepted timeframe
Is the principal contact for packaging issues raised by production.
Process owner of H&S Guidelines relevant to his / her function.
Follow the H&S action plans
Ensure that the equipment used in the department is in line with H&S Guidelines or local legislation
