Resident Logistic Support Specialist

Within the Military Customer Support Organization, as Resident Logistic Support Specialist you will be located at Customer’s military base in Cameri (NO) at 1°RMV (Reparto Manutenzione Velivoli).

This role will require your permanent presence at Customer’s military base with the primary task of providing direct support on logistic and procurement aspects and you will be the reference person and the direct interface between Avio Aero and Italian Air Force.

Additionally, if needed, you will be the reference person for what concern the EHS aspects of the CWP (Contractor Working Parties) Team located at Customer’s military base.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Ensure effective exchange of logistic information between AvioAero and Italian Air Force (IAF)
- Liaise with other Customer’s departments, Avio Aero Program team in order to ensure timely and effective exchange of logistics information
- Manage the shipment, distribution and tracking of material inside IAF organization, from/to IAF and the Company, from IAF to abroad
- Draft and issue of Logistics documentation within the company IT system for sending material to be repaired by the Company
- Contribute to resolve transportation problems and related accompanying documents between Company and IAF (Defect Report, Log Card, Shipping List)
- Coordination in handling critical and/or urgent material between Company and different operating bases
- Perform support spares analysis based on future maintenance activities, retrofit program, obsolescence, etc
- Monitor actual stock to identify additional new spares procurement
- Identify potential critical parts and define actions to mitigate disruption in the maintenance activities
- Define priorities in material procurement considering budget constraints
- Propose reduction actions for any overstock or obsolete items
- Support the customer in fleet data analysis and management, and logistic management of Engine configuration
- Maintain close liaison contact with the Customer maintenance leader to get feedback from the Operators with the aim of improve our support and offer additional team
- Manage and support the Avio Aero CWP team deployed at the Customer maintenance sites, facilitating the information flow between the Company/Organizational Leader with regards to administrative duties (holidays, sickness, leaves, rotations, shifts etc.), internal courses requirements and travel expenses approval
- Manage the EHS aspects of the CWP Team located at the Bases according to the mandatory legislation and Company policies
- Support and interface with Customer for the drafting of operational documents on safety (POS, DUVRI, Site inspection)

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a high school diploma with previous solid experience in similar role
- Knowledge of configuration control rules, processes and procedures
- General knowledge of aero engines, modules, accessories and applicable AGE (Aircraft Ground Equipment) and of the MRO military environment and contractual aspects in force
- Understanding and ability in consulting Nomenclature Catalogues, engine Technical Publications, regulations and applicable procedures (maintenance manuals, parts catalog, calibration procedures)
- Ability to read and understand Change Proposal, Technical disposition and Repair Schemes/Instruction
- Ability in data analysis element and statistical process towards material management
- Strong Customer mindset
- Proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English
- Eligible for NATO Security Clearance
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

**Desired Characteristics**
- Knowledge of national/international regulations related to logistics, procurement and repair ordering and fleet management
- General knowledge of EJ200 & RB199 engine, modules, accessories and applicable AGE (Aircraft Ground Equipment)
- Ability to maintain a connection inside the IT MoD National Organizations and the industrial environment
- Knowledge of bespoke Customer / Company IT systems & tools (CADPS, SiLEF, BPM, SAP, etc)
- Good oral and written communication skills
