The Junior Trainer is a critical role in the region dedicated to developing Global Forwarding staff while upholding the core foundational principles of the Global Operations Training Program. Knowledge and promotion of Global Forwarding standard processes, efficient practices, and compliant industry standards are expected to be considered in all aspects of contribution.

The Junior Trainer will collaborate with the Regional Manager Operations Training and Support, Global Training Team, regional branch offices, and corporate teams to help our organization succeed by training and developing our Global Forwarding operations staff.

This position can be based in any C.H. Robinson office in Europe.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for deployment of all aspects of the Global Forwarding Onboarding Program in the development of regional operations staff
- Work with the Business Process Optimization Team, Compliance Team, and IT Team to support technology and operations process changes
- Be an active member of the Regional Training Team
- Deliver Global Forwarding related web-based learning, instructor led courses, workshops, and other various Global Forwarding trainings utilizing our organization’s LMS
- Provide re-training to branch modal teams as identified by Business Process Optimization Team and/or Compliance Team audit findings
- Contribute to creation, maintenance, and publication of quality accessible operations resource documentation, e.g. Job Aids, Responsibility Guides, Users Guides, and SOPs
- Promote availability to accessible quality opportunities related to freight forwarding and industry professional development
- Manage internal training ticket and support queue, responsible for answering ad hoc operations questions from operations staff
- Utilize knowledge of our internal operating system (Navisphere) and Global Forwarding processes, industry regulations, and financial processes to train operations staff
- Contribute to review of knowledge documentation
- Deploy training surveys as needed.
- Ability to be a key project participant
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
**Required Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of industry experience or equivalent knowledge.
**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Demonstrate strong knowledge in at least one mode
- Ability to collaborate and align across functional and geographical boundaries to achieve results
- Proficient working knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word
- Can understand and simplify complex processes to train and document accordingly
- Very good communication (oral and written), facilitation, presentation, coaching, and training skills
Detail-oriented, organized and productive
- Able to multi-task and keep stakeholders informed
- Ability to effect change without direct authority
- Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization
- Should be a self-starter, work independently and be able to work under mínimal supervision
- Flexibility to travel occasionally, up to 5-10% of the time.
