Our Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Engineering Transformation team work to improve the quality of our Engineering processes.

As a Commodity Buyer, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and executing long-term commodity strategies to optimize procurement KPI performance.
- Integrating commodity strategies into Product Leadership, Engineering, and Manufacturing objectives.
- Driving supplier selection and management of New Product Development aligned with business strategy.
- Partnering with Product Leadership, Sales, and Engineering as a reference for commodity strategy.
- Leading negotiations, issue purchase orders, and develop sourcing initiatives for cost optimization and cash flow improvement.

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelor's in Engineering or Economics with procurement/commodity management experience.
- Be proficient in English and Italian (spoken and written)
- Have excellent communication and influencing skills and a positive attitude towards change and challenges.
- Have an analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
- Have interpersonal and leadership skills, negotiating expertise, program planning and execution skills.
- Have the ability to travel.
- Have the ability to handle multiple complex situations daily.
