Junior Financial Cost Controller

E.ON is a pioneer in developing new and innovative energy solutions and attract the brightest minds in the energy sector.**The Financial Controlling (FC) Department at Customer Solutions Italy is seeking a Junior Controller to join the Financial Controlling team.**

**Responsibilities**:
The Junior Controller will perform the controlling activities in the FC department for Customer Solutions Italy, with a focus on cost and project steering, to promote a cost-efficient culture. Specifically, he/she will:
- Prepare the Controllable Costs steering with the Customer Solution Italy Board in coordination with the other FC team members and under the supervision of the FC manager the periodic meetings.
- Ensure correctness and accuracy of official records, together with accounting and the other FC team members.
- Upload (for the costs planned in financial controlling area) and ensure/facilitate the uploading from the other Controlling teams of the cost budget by WBS/cost center into SAP Hana.
- Be the point of reference for the cost center/WBS owners to access SAP Hana cost reporting.
- Support other FC team members for investment projects (especially IT) steering (from financial approval of the related business cases to post-completion audit).
- Interface with other Italian Controlling teams, especially for topics across costs.
- Contribute to the planning/controlling/steering of Balance Sheet (Receivables, Payables) and Cash Flow.
- Contribute to Customer Solutions Italy Group standards (KPI, monthly, quarterly, annual) and ad-hoc Reporting developing the required analysis of deviations (e.g.: vs. budget / previous year/previous forecast).
- Support Profitability/Customer Value analysis on commodity/segment/channel.- The Resource will report to the Financial Controlling Manager.**Qualifications**:
- Successfully completed academic studies in the field of business administration, ideally with a focus on controlling/accounting/finance.
- Comprehensive work experience in Controlling (1-2 years) also in a consulting/auditing firm. Exposure to the energy sector and/or service companies is a plus.
- A highly reliable character, taking ownership and showing a strong commitment to excellence, including attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical thinking skills with good communication and interpersonal skills, able to succeed in a team of motivated and talented individuals.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to perform under time pressure and to juggle competing deadlines.
- Experience with usage of SAP Hana ERP control modules (SAP CO/FI) and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access) and Power BI.
- Fluency in English in written and spoken is a must, other languages are a plus.**Do you have questions?**
