**Die-Casting Expert**:
Position Summary

Under the direction of the Mechanical Engineer Manager, the resource collaborates with Mech Project Leaders in order to supervise aluminum die casting product design and development. Starting from RFQ phase evaluating how to create aluminum box, during B, C phase discuss and evaluate design feasibility, design to cost and design to manufacturing. Supervise technically supplier choice, visit supplier (Europe and China) during tooling design (also evaluating mold flow simulation) and manufacturing. After SOP discuss with suppliers for tooling optimization and continues improvement.

**Responsibilities**:
Supervise design of the aluminum casting part during development
Visit new suppliers in order to have R&D rating
Follow suppliers mold development (mold simulation, mold design)
Discuss with customer for casting technical topic
Follow suppliers after SOP for continuous improvement on new mold
Evaluate second source suppliers

**Qualifications and Experience Levels**:
Strong Knowledge of Mold flow simulation software (MAGMA or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of aluminum die casting process
Knowledge of international and customer automotive standard
Very good English language
Chinese culture and language understanding.
