Plant Controller

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct cost analysis and follow up on all cost categories, such as variable costs, OVC, and FE, on a monthly and ad hoc basis, proposing measures to minimize deviations.
- Prepare monthly forecasts for the plant, including a detailed deviation analysis compared to the budget.
- Month end accruals and accounting adjustments, prepayments, CCA reposting, assessment cycle setting up
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial management reports for the plant, which includes key performance indicators (KPI) reporting, analysis, and trends.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to the Management Team based on the analysis, proposing necessary corrections and improvements.
- Oversee the coordination and preparation of the annual budget, ensuring that the total plant budget aligns with the targets set by the BU Controller and Leadership.
- Oversee the coordination Annual Standard cost roll process
- Supervising and coordinate all payroll cost process (white and blue collars) including actual, budget and annual salary review with HR Business Partner
- Support project leaders by assisting in the preparation of new Authorizations for Expenditures (AFEs), Project Development Plans (PDP), Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models, and localizations.
- Train employees at all levels within the plant on financial processes and tools to enhance overall organizational understanding.
- Actively participate in Group projects related to the financial area, including reporting, system implementations, and new ERP projects.

**Background & Skills**:

- Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent field.
- 5+ years of working experience in similar roles, gained within international manufacturing environments.
- Previous experience in settings characterized by diverse cultures, both internally and externally.
- Proven communication skills and cultural awareness, with the ability to influence others and be a good team player.
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel), SAP (must have), and Business Objects (BO).
- Business-oriented approach combined with an analytical and systematic mindset, as this position requires a high level of aptitude and capability.
- Understanding of forecasting and budgeting processes, making it second nature to interpret data and prepare reports.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Italian.
