Retail Planner

We are looking for a **Planner **to join our Beauty team in Brugherio (Monza) for a 6 months fixed term contract. Featuring the right products on air at the right time of day is a necessary factor in maximising sales in QVC and this exciting challenge could be yours Reporting into a Planning Manager, in this role you will provide an objective link between Buyers and Broadcasters, ensuring the long-term profitability of airtime and products and maximising sales opportunities in the short term. In this role you will work closely with buyers and will be responsible for your own product area in the Beauty category. This will involve in-depth demand and sales analysis to determine the optimum positioning for products and TV shows and the effective rotation and management of merchandise. Some of your main responsibilities will be: **Managing Airtime** - Prioritize on-air sales and productivity maximization. - Strategize items to maximize selling exposures - Identify and react to opportunities including promo handles, Free P&P, SPVs, TSVs, OTOs, Auto Delivery, and Advanced Orders. - Monitor and review sales performance - Maintain category margin requirements - Identify opportunities for new show titles and events - Partner with Buying to analyze business and develop short and mid-term strategic plans. - Partner with Buying to establish seasonal strategic plans, including rotation of shows and products. **Stock Management** - Manage and action overall inventory to assigned goal. - Analyze item/show sales performances and determine next actions - Identify lines to re-order and propose quantities for key lines, being responsible for developing strategies for their long-term life cycle to ensure on air and Buy Anytime sales are maximized on each line. - To identify stock to be returned to vendor (RTV) and actioned promptly, proposing exit strategies for problem lines. - Identify and action markdown and liquidation inventory, ensuring that the correct status, pricing and liquidation strategy is applied following QVC's guidelines. - To prioritize management of aged inventory - Identify opportunities within category assortment based on sales trends and gaps in the inventory. **Reporting** - Partner with Buying and Commerce Platforms to forecast, plan and recap Events - Forecast sales and inventory providing information for the open to buy process. **To be successful in this role you'll need to have**: - A degree in Economics, Math, Statistics or in a relevant matter. - 1 years experience in a similar role - Experience of being responsible for a product area and stock management - Excellent knowledge of Excel - Fluency in Italian and English is a must - Ability to adapt to a fast pace and "live" commercial environment - Strong analytical skills LI-VS1 LI-Hybrid
