**Who is ITT?**

Responsabilità essenziali:
We are looking for a
**Junior Buyer Direct Materials **located in Barge (CN) who will be in charge of a wide range of activities, from administrative to tactical and strategic, involved with the purchase of brake pad components.

**Main Responsibilities / Tasks**:

- Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity (e.g vendor agreements, material records)
- Ensures procurement execution (transactional operations) in alignment with internal processes
- Assist the senior buyer on cost reduction opportunity creation and implementation to meet annual targets
- Ensures, through proper negotiations with the supplier, the best purchasing conditions (price, means of payment and delivery deadlines)
- Solicit and evaluate proposals
- Meet day-to-day short-term objective and resolve issues through immediate action or short term planning
- Support on solving supplier issues such as account payable resolution, quality defects, past due deliveries and risks related to production
- Participates to the development of products together with R&D.
- Research industry trends and performs commodity market analysis
- Keep track and report cost savings or avoidances

Requisiti di posizione:

**Qualification / Requirements**:

- Degree in technical/economical disciplines
- Professional use of MS Office tools
- Ability to work with different priorities
- Teamwork
- Strong attitude to interpersonal relationships
- Excellent analytical skills, problem solving and proactivity.
