- About the job
- In this position, you will develop and implement profitable and sustainable price strategies for our product portfolio and connected services in the Sandvik Coromant organization. And you will ensure that these price strategies actually work - support us to grow our profitable business and gain market share You will create the price models and methods for price setting and market discount recommendations, as well as ensure a strong price positioning by keeping a close eye on market trends and our competitors. You will proactively perform profitability management, ROI analysis and collect the insights for decision-making - aiming to ensure a profitable growth of our total offer.
- On top of this, you build strong collaborations and extensive networks with our stakeholders in Product Management, Sales, Market Pricing, Sales and Supply - and you make sure to communicate our pricing strategies and offer support and guidance in executing them. Other important parts of your job will include taking part in creation of business cases, development activities and other projects connected to pricing.
- The location for this position is flexible within Europe with connection to one of our office locations. Global travelling is a natural part of the job. Hybrid work from office and home is also an option.
- About you
- We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s in Economics, Marketing or equivalent. You have at least seven years professional experience in pricing, product management, sales, marketing or finance. To be successful in this role you also need knowledge of international marketing, pricing and market strategies, business development or profitability management. We act in a truly global organization, and this calls for excellent written and spoken English skills.
- For this job, we do need a proactive and visionary professional with a passion for details, analytics and strategies, but you also need to be a curious and communicative collaborator. In our world this means being able to work across borders and with multiple stakeholders in a structured manner. You’re self-motivated and eager to learn about our offering and the market, and you then share your knowledge to get great results.
