Legal Counsel

**LEGAL COUNSEL**

**Fixed-term contract, 12 months**

Provides a variety of legal services aimed at supporting the day-to-day activities and global operations of kdc/one Scentend & Living Solutions Division and its subsidiaries worldwide, in the areas of commercial and contract laws.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with the drafting, review and negotiation of various business contracts, including procurement, distribution, manufacturing, services, development, purchasing or sale, and NDAs, among other, involving counterparties located around the world.
- Participate in risk identification and the development of legal solutions.
- Provide legal advices and opinions on various matters related to KDC/One's commercial activities, including with regard to applicable legislation and regulations.
- Support business units with regard to legal issues raised in the course of the company's day-to-day activities (commercial, supply, etc.).
- Participate in the development and maintenance of corporate templates and procedures, of the legal documentation database, and the automation of certain documents and processes.

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in English is a prerequisite
- University degree in Law
- 2+ years of experience, preferably in FMCG business operating in an international environment.
- Experience in planning, organizing, and prioritizing time and competing deadlines to complete job responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Negotiation
- Strong ability to think strategically to resolve issues effectively and efficiently and to build collaborative relationships with business leaders.
- Highly skilled in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Developed business acumen.
- Business oriented
- Italian bar membership and/or knowledge of another language will be considered as preferable
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/Teams/SharePoint/One Drive.
