We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Process Automation business. You will lead the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety&environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments.
**This position reports to**:
Project Operations Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach and oversee project hand-over, execution planning and monitor and control activities for both internal and external resources in order to accomplish all project goals.
- Provide performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects. Active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification. Support improving guidelines, tools, and templates.
- Ensure compliance to relevant cyber security regulations, standards and contractual requirements.
- Support local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.
- Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies. Effectively monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization.
- Monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.
- Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project. Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and acknowledgement by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
- Ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain Management and successfully procure required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
- Support Procurement and Logistics in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes.
- Act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
**Your background**:
- A degree in Engineering field, preferably in naval/electronic/mechanic sector.
- At least 5/6 years of relevant experience. An experience in marine sector is a plus.
- A good knowledge of English.
- Leadership and team player skills.
