Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a Construction Project Manager in Italy to support the Construction local activities.

The Project Manager (PM) will actively support the construction of the projects on behalf of the Client, including the CDM and HSE regulations. The PM will be fully dedicated to these projects, leading the delivery of the services and paying regular visits to the construction sites as directed by the Client. This will include the management in the review of pre
- and post-construction documentation to verify compliance of contractors with construction contracts.

**Job Description**:
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that quality of deliverables is maintained, regardless of volume- Taking steps to protect and limit the liability of VC where possible- Being proactive in solving problems, on behalf of VC and the Client- Liaising productively with designers, contractors, sub-contractors and site teams- Review of technical documentation in relation to pre-construction and post-construction assessments- Reviewing site inspection and other reports drafted by others- Reporting regularly on project progress to VC Management and to the Client- Any other activity the PM can reasonably be asked to support with- Site inspection activities will include:
- Site inspections using VC checklist and camera-
- Support in the control of works compliance with the detailed engineering projects and eventual reporting to the Client if misalignments are identified-
- Verification of exact construction progress, including communication to the Client of delays on the established working calendar and suggesting, if needed, modifications in the construction works focusing on technical and / or logistic aspects of the operations-
- Request of intervention by the Client when important misalignments with agreed works are observed in relation to the activity carried out by contractors-
- Verify the achievement of milestone events according to the construction contract-
- Conformity of construction progress with the final design and expected chronogram. The Client will be alerted to any issues identified and requiring attention-
- Verification that the works are performed according CDM and HSE regulations, where possible-
- Ensure the PC compile the H&S file and all the O&M information is transferred to O&M contractorKey Requirements:
- At least 3 year, preferable 5 years or more years of experience in construction of PV facilities- Appropriate Health, Safety and Environmental training (working at height training and associated medical assessment would be an advantage although can be provided)- Previous experience on operational facilities will be very good consider- Ability to communicate through different stake holders and different audience- Used to work in an international environment and to interact with clients, contractors and local authorities.- Site based during construction but availability for travel is required (office meetings, Factory visits )- SMST (valid for the period of the works)- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office package, AutoCAD, MS Project and/or Primavera.- Language Skills: English and Spanish proficiency- Driving license.

Studies- Degree of Post graduate degree in appropriate engineering discipline
