**Main purpose of the role**
- The person is responsible to assure an integrated and balanced vision of all the economic and financial dimensions managed and the impacts of the actions conducted on the main economic-financial indicators within the Group; regularly review the defined plans in order to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes, also in a economic-financial prospective; assure that all the decisions, within the perimeter and areas of competence, are taken by reconciling the short-term instances with the long-term risks and instances.

**What you will do**
- Coordinate and oversee controlling activities: budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost analysis for the Business unit Gum Base;
- Prepare monthly management reporting by drawing up monthly income statements and balance sheet, monitoring the performance of the BU;
- Supervise the control of production costs of the BU production plants and subsidiaries (Italy, India, China and US);
- Monitor the Financial results of BU companies, identifying deviations and proposing opportunities for improvement/corrective actions;
- Monitor Cash flows of the BU proposing opportunities for improvement/corrective actions;
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions, including capex evaluations, make-or-buy studies and business cases;
- Manage/contribute to the continuous product costing improvement in the BU factories;
- Play as a finance business partner for the BU management team, preparing analyses to support management decisions, interpreting, and presenting key business performance indicators;
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and relevant accounting standards;
- Facilitate digital transformation and automation initiatives for reporting and financial analysis;
- Coordinate inventory counts, asset reviews, and periodic controls within the industrial environment.
- Degree in Economics;
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in similar roles within structured industrial companies;
- Solid knowledge of cost accounting, industrial accounting, consolidated financial statements, budgeting and management reporting;
- Knowledge of S4 and TAGETIK (preferred);
- Knowledge of English is essential;
- Analytical skills, strong problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
