You’ll know exactly who needs what and when, you’ll remember their names and you’ll use your creativity and experience to deliver a fantastic event every time.
In your role as **Sales & Events Executive**, you’ll discuss and agree some key objectives with your line manager. These objectives are designed to support your department’s goals and priorities. You’ll also take responsibility for your own development, embracing training opportunities that we offer, while learning from any challenges and mistakes along the way.
**How you do it**:
- You’ll be responding to all M&E enquiries, getting back to prospective clients quickly and efficiently, and converting them into confirmed bookings.
- You’ll generate quotes based on the guidelines provided by our Revenue & Pricing Manager and sending them out to potential clients.
- You’ll issue contracts and deposit requests for confirmed business.
- You’ll use your negotiating skills, strong judgement and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts, as well as upsell where possible, to make sure we’re achieving our M&E targets and staying within our budgets.
- You’ll work collaboratively with our M&E operations and kitchen teams to make sure event delivery is smooth. You’ll producing clear and accurate BEOs, attending weekly BEO meetings and handing over to the team in charge on the day. You’ll also be present to the events if needed.
- You’ll support our Director of Sales with reporting and ad hoc projects when required.
- Ensure M&E 3rd party sites are up to date with latest content & imagery
- Ensure menus, collateral, and other sales and events marketing materials are always up to date with the latest content, information and imagery
- Coordinate and execute M&E photoshoots together with marketing
You’ll take your cues from the guidance and instructions given by your leadership team. You’ll also be backed up by PPHE’s standard operating procedures.
**What you bring**:
- **You’re friendly and confident in conducting client show arounds and menu tastings when needed.
- You’re brilliant at maintaining strong client relationships, keeping event planning process smooth for the client and encouraging return business by always going extra mile for our clients.
