**Basic Function**:
This position is based on the following competencies:

- Knowledge of rotating equipment like pumps, compressors and relevant parts: mechanical seals, bearings, tolerances, etc.
- Knowledge of asset integrity standards
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques
- Knowledge of non destructive testing techniques
- Basic knowledge of piping standard
- Knowledge of Machinery directive
- Basic knowledge of PED directive

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
Specialist independently organizes assigned work, performing the following activities:

- Receives notifications/WO from departmental employees;
- Takes view of the work;
- Activates other specialties as appropriate;
- Works within the SAP system;
- Contacts contractors companies, checking their availability and selecting them based on work characteristics;
- Directly issues the purchase order to the chosen firm;
- Procures the materials needed for the work by searching for them both in stock and from contracted suppliers;
- Checks the work of the contractors from both the technical and safety sides;
- Receives, cross-checks with the contractors the accounts and approves them within the site computer systems, evaluating the quality and quantity of the work done.

Coordinates activities and remediation plans while respecting the operational plant needs during implementations. Provide assistance after installation and start-up.

Participates in new investments in the role of maintenance expert in order to enable the purchase of equipment and machines that are easy to maintain and as suitable as possible for our processes.

Helps on managing the entire lifecycle equipments utilizing corporate/site procedures and engineering standards interacting with all relevant site department as well as company peers and vendors/suppliers as needed to resolve problems and improve plant reliability and performance

He is a first-person actor in the company's security policy toward companies in compliance with legal and HSE requirements.

Ensures that law requirements, Company standards and guidelines are applied as appropriate.

**Min. Qualifications**:
**Education**:
High school degree or equivalent

**Work Experience**:
5+ years experience in maintenance of rotating and static equipment

**Languages & IT**:
Good written and oral English

MS office suite
