Adas Specialist

Principle Activities:
The Automated Driving Advanced Development team is actively searching for a Components Development Integrity Lead.

This role will primarily guarantee that the activities performed by all the teams are synchronous and fulfill the requested requirements in order to achieve the expected level of maturity of ADAS/AD components for each phase of the development plan.

We are looking for a self-starter with good engineering judgement, a solid background in AD/ADAS systems, experience in problems to face for vehicle launch readiness and with curiosity/ motivation to learn as the technology progresses.

Main responsibilities
- Set up and maintain AD/ADAS Components Integrated Development Timing coherent with respect to Pre-Development timing (meet maturity levels) and with respect to GVD Timing (meet deliveries for each milestone)
- Define the minimum requirements needed for each system (included powertrain, chassis, mechanical parts, etc ) to allow the right level of maturity of ADAS/ AD components in every phase of the development and transfer the requests to the Component Development / Release Engineers.
- Monitor the achievements of the requirements, alert when problems/ roadblocks occur and promote the contingency/ recovery plan set up as needed.
- Facilitate the communication among the teams (also outside ADAS/AD).
- Support the technical review during the sourcing phase and the gates review during the development.
- Support the validation plan proposed by the supplier to test AD/ADAS components
- Support the update of internal cross teams processes
- Support the risk management analysis.
- Identify potential roadblocks coming from unexpected events.
- Monitor the status of vehicles used by ADAS/ AD components Tier1s and ensure they are constantly updated for the parts relevant for the systems development.
- Monitoring of SW releases for all the ADAS/AD ECUs and the partner ECUs to ensure their consistency depending on the development phase.

Skill Qualification
- Engineering Master’s degree in Electronic, Automation, Mechanic or Automotive Engineering;
- 5+ years of working experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to use industry standard tools to communicate function logic to implementation
- Strong interpersonal communication, team/ leadership skills/ experience
- 2+ years of experience in managing the project development (starting from concept phase up to Start of Production)
- (preferred) DFSS certification - or participation in several projects start through completion
- Experience in ADAS and AD systems, including domain controller, camera, radar, lidar, etc.
- Knowledge of vehicle communication architectures
- Knowledge of system function modeling and requirements capture utilizing SysML tools
- Direct experience with Application LifeCycle Management tools such as, IBM Rational/Doors, CodeBeamer, PTC Integrity, Polarion, or Enterprise Architect, etc.
- Proficiency in working level knowledge of Vehicle Bus (e.g. CAN FD, ETH, etc.) tools for data collection and analysis
- Experience in generating statement of work/ scope documentation or responding to Request for Quotes
- Familiarity with system level re-simulation (i.e. HIL, SIL, VIL)
- Experience with automotive data recorder systems General working knowledge and previous exposure to ISO26262, SOTIF and Cybersecurity
