**Essential Responsibilities**
- Take part in sourcing processes, from evaluation of requestor’s requirements to PO placement
- Develop the understanding of concepts, methods and procedures to enable sourcing execution
- Meet day-to-day short term objective and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning
- Evaluate the best efficiency for procured goods and services, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs
- Evaluate current requirements, determine potential sources, prepare tenders
- Solicit and evaluate proposals
- Take part in negotiations PO and/or purchase contracts, following applicable company and government regulations
- Give your contribution in strategic initiatives necessary to reduce costs
- Work on assigned commodities to meet the requirements of GE Aerospace

**Qualification/Requirements**
- Master's Degree in a technical field, preferably in Engineering
- Proficient in Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
- Ability to handle several activities simultaneously, manage multiple priorities and resolve appropriately
- Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Proactive, fast learner and curious
- Willingness to travel (e.g. suppliers abroad)
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

**Desired Characteristics**
- Working knowledge of SAP MRP software system
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of current market conditions, pricing and sources of supply
- Ability to handle issues around cost increases and how to mitigate them
- Effective problem identification and solution skill
- High team-working skills
