Mazars is looking for an exceptional Insurance Advisory Manager to join our Insurance Advisory team in Rome.

Let’s Talk about the Role

Main responsibilities
Coordinate IFRS 9/17 and/or Solvency II consultancy projects (propositions preparation, assistance on accounting and reporting issues, implementation of new procedures/TOM, project planning and monitoring, invoicing);
Be the main operational point of reference for the clients, analysis of complex accounting/procedural issues, preparation of reports/presentations for management;
Manage planning and costs related to the projects, keeping the Director/Partner in charge regularly informed;
Assure professional development to the team.

Role Requirements
Master’s Degree in Economics or Business Administration;
5+ years of experience in the insurance sector (preferably Advisory);
Expertise of insurance legislation and national and IFRS accounting principles;
Previous participation in IFRS 9 and 17 implementation projects;
Excelent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Financial Reporting’s solutions (Tagetik, SAP, etc.) in the insurance field;
Good analytical skills;
Excelent proficiency in english.
